Song change

I have decided to change my song for my alt indie music video as I felt my new song, 'bros' by Wolf Alice, had a better narrative and was more suitable for the brief, I also enjoy the narrative of these lyrics more. My initial idea for this song is a reflection on childhood friendships and 2000s/childhood nostalgia, the narrative is going to focus around 2 friends reflecting on their friendship after having a sleepover/spending time together.

Now I am using the dynamic of friendship I intend to use two people as my main talent this is likely to be Jess who performed in my 30 second screen test, as she enjoys the alternative indie genre and is good at modelling and Leila as she also fit the alternative indie genre audience profile for this song and would be good at performing the friendship dynamic since they have known each other since childhood.

I then began to organise my ideas for what should happen in each part of the song, and re annotated the lyrics, with the idea of potentially doing a shoot day locally and one in London to see which aesthetic fits my music video more.

 

Using my annotated lyrics I then created my story board.

I then drafted a plan for my website and the homepage.

This is my contact sheet from the camera that I used, as I wanted to incorporate digital media into my music video to reflect the 2000s and childhood nostalgia which I was aiming to reflect in my music video as the concept was to do with childhood friendships which are spoken about in the song and how they develop.
